Board of Directors

JULIE, Inc.'s Board of Directors is a group comprised of municipalities, utility consortiums and the excavation community from across Illinois.

The Board of Directors sets policy for the operation of the Illinois One-Call System and makes overall decisions for the company.

Board members are required to attend quarterly meetings and encouraged to take advantage of the various Board trainings offered throughout the year. Elections for open positions are conducted at the Annual Meeting held in April.

BOARD COMMITTEES

Finance and Facility Members focus on financial and investment issues that affect JULIE's budget and financial reporting as well as facility concerns.

Governmental Affairs Members review issues raised by the Board of Directors and JULIE membership regarding the Illinois Statute. When changes are deemed necessary, the committee follows specific guidelines for legislative passage.

Human Resources Members give attention to staff related issues.

Operations Members focus on issues that affect the operation of the call center such as hardware, software, mapping issues and customer service.

Public Education Members review the marketing, media and proactive outreach campaigns and training efforts.

Vision Members will explore opportunities and develop forward looking strategies that balance the needs of excavators and facility owners in promoting safety and damage prevention throughout the state of Illinois. These opportunities and strategies will be recommended to the board of directors,staff and to the appropriate committee.
