The
ownership of street lights at a dig site is not known by JULIE operators.
Street lights may be owned by any one of the following:
1. An electric utility in the area.
2. The local municipality.
3. The subdivision developer.
4. The property owner.
For this reason, if you know that your
excavation will occur in an area where street lights are present, you may want
to specifically request that these facilities be marked or that the owner
contact you. This can be done during the locate request process by asking
the JULIE agent to enter this information into the "Remarks" section or by
doing this yourself if you are a Remote user.
