A Normal Locate Request is the most common type of request processed by JULIE, Inc.
This type of request is one in which the excavator indicates a job start time that is between the 48 hour (two working day) utility company notice and the 14 calendar day advance notice required under Illinois state law.
Normal locate requests are processed through the JULIE system immediately and normally delivered to JULIE member companies via e-mail, printer, fax or manually within minutes.
