GPS - Fast and Easy
More and more contractors are providing latitude and longitude coordinates
from Global Positioning System (GPS) units for their job sites in lieu of
section/quarter section information. This has generated several
requests for assistance setting up GPS units. |
Standard of Datum
In order for the JULIE system to recognize GPS information, it must be given in North American
Datum 83 (NAD83) in degrees, minutes and seconds. |

Since each unit is different, we recommend that you contact your vendor and
ask them for assistance in setting your equipment to the appropriate datum. |
