ComEd's Damage Prevention Program is designed to prevent damage to ComEd's underground electrical facilities and help ensure the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to our customers. 

ComEd aggressively investigates and tracks all damages caused by dig-ins.  A team of four specialists monitor underground locating companies to ensure the accurate identification of underground utility infrastructure.
