Remembering Tom Stutzman

JULIE, Inc. is saddened to announce our colleague, former board member, and friend Thomas “Tom” Stutzman passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

For 20 years (2001 to 2021) Tom was an integral part of JULIE’s Board of Directors. As a ComEd employee, Tom represented the electric utility stakeholder group on the JULIE Board. He served in various capacities during those two decades, including two different terms as board president. Tom’s dual passion for damage prevention and JULIE’s mission of protecting underground utility facilities and those individuals working and living around those facilities inspired him to serve as a former Governmental Affairs Committee chair among other roles on the Board.

“Stutz” was an inherent part of JULIE, Inc. until his retirement from ComEd and the JULIE Board in 2021. We will long remember him for his energy, passion and ability to lead.
